Movie Preview : Haider (2nd October 2014)
After making superb film adaptations of many of the Bard’s plays (Maqbool, Omkara) , Vishal Bharadwaj returns with an adaptation of “Hamlet”. The film is set in Kashmir, and stars Shahid Kapoor, Tabu, Kay Kay Menon and Shraddha Kapoor.

A rom-com courtesy Disney Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films, this one might be interesting if it does not get too juvenile/cheesy/nausea-inducing. Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan star.

Emraan Hashmi returns after Ghanchakkar with another interesting looking film. Kunal Deshmukh directs this one, and while he’s directed other forgettable films, let’s hope this one’s the exception to the rule.

Is Vir Das (of Delhi Belly/Revolver Rani fame) finally getting his due? Das also makes his singing debut in this film with the song “Pyar Hai Ek Kutti Cheez”. Ah! The romance! The poetry! 🙂

Dharma Productions brings together the young folk from SOTY, in another romance. Hopefully this will be as entertaining.
